This is a friendly reminder that we have the Members Class Meeting and the RYCT 143rd Annual General Meeting fast approaching!🚣‍♀️

Registration opens at 4:45pm for the Special Resolutions Member Class Meeting being held at 5pm, Wednesday 24th July. 

Registration opens at 5:30pm for the AGM on Wednesday 24th July, for a 6pm start. 

If you are unable to attend on Wednesday, and wish to make a proxy vote, you can find those forms on our website, or pop into reception on Monday to collect a form. Proxy voting forms must be returned no later than 5pm Monday 22 July for the Members Class Meeting, and 6pm Monday 22 July for the AGM.

The Combined Clubs Committee (Derwent Sailing Squadron, Royal Yacht Club of Tasmania and Bellerive Yacht Club) are seeking a knowledgeable writer to write 9 articles covering our Combined Clubs Saturday sailing events in the 2024-25 season. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a deep understanding of boating and a passion for writing about competitive sailing.

Requirements:
✅ Experience and knowledge of boating and sailing
✅ Proven writing skills with a portfolio of relevant work
✅ Ability to produce engaging and informative content

Responsibilities:
✅ Write detailed and captivating articles on our sailing races
✅ Highlight the skills, strategies, and stories of our participants
✅ Collaborate with the host club of each event to ensure
accurate and timely coverage.

To Apply:
Please submit your resume and writing samples of 300 words using the results of the last race of the 2023-24 Combined Clubs Long Race Series dssinc-results.org/results/2023/summer/pennantlong/series.htm to demonstrate your expertise in writing sailing articles to sailing@dssinc.org.au by Friday 16 August 2024.

MEMBERS NIGHT NEXT WEEK!!!

It’s gonna be a big one!
We have Robbie’s Woodfired Pizza parking on the lawn to feed you dinner (while our kitchen is closed🥲) with some yummy pizzas ranging from $12 - $20 each 🍕
