SUPPORT THE ROYAL YACHT CLUB OF TASMANIA’S
FLOATING DRY DOCKS PROJECT

The Royal Yacht Club of Tasmania, in conjunction with the Australian Sports Foundation are proud to provide an opportunity to support the “Floating Docks Project”.

By donating before 30 June 2022, your valuable tax-deductible donation will support The Royal Yacht Club of Tasmania to provide floating dry docks which will enhance participation and:

  • promote inclusion for all levels of sailing abilities to ease access to dinghy sailing
  • support all coaching levels by creating time efficiencies for boat access
  • reduce the response time to launch rescue boats
  • reduce the response time to on-water incidents
  • reduce the need for trailer manoeuvring and difficulties for water access

MARINA ENTRY AND 'A' ARM REFURBISHMENT

The current Marina Entry and ‘A’ Arm is the last remaining piled section of the original marina and in poor condition.  ‘A’ Arm will be replaced by a floating marina.  The Marina entry jetty will be refurbished and connected to the new ‘A’ Arm and floating fuel berth by an inclined ramp.

You can help us with this vital infrastructure upgrade by making a tax-deductible donation through the Australian Sports Foundation.

ABOUT THE AUSTRALIAN SPORTS FOUNDATION

We work with sports clubs and organisations, large and small, and from all over the country, to help raise money for Australian sport.

The unique purpose of the Foundation is to enable donors to claim a tax deduction for donations made to sporting projects that have signed up to fundraise with us. Over the last 30 years, the Foundation has helped increased funding to all levels of sport by more than $345 million!

In simple terms, for every donation of $2 or more, the Foundation provides a receipt to the donor that they can then use to claim their tax deduction for the donation. Depending on an individuals income bracket, this can be up to half of the total amount of the donation.
