Miena Village Training Weekend

The Royal Yacht Club of Tasmania invites sailors in Laser ILCA 7, ILCA 6 and ILCA 4, Optimist, Cadet, Flying 11, and Sabot to a weekend training camp held at the RYCT OTB led by head coaches Josh Becker (ILCA), Sam King (Sabot), Oscar O’Donoghue (Optimist), Hugo Allison (Cadet) and Ed Bradby (Flying 11).

Endorsed by the Tas ILCA, the Tasmanian International Optimist Association and the Tasmanian Sabot Sailing Association, the camps are held at the beginning of the sailing season and are designed to set the scene for subsequent training and racing towards the various class Australian Championships later in the year.

With the generous support of Miena Village, RYCT will be holding the camp 14 – 15 September 2024, it  has been able to offer the 2024 camp at $75 to RYCT members and at $150 cost to all other Tasmanian Dinghy Sailors.

All levels of skill will be catered for in each class including Open, Intermediate and Green Fleets.

During the camps the RYCT OTB canteen will be in operation for lunch and post-sailing hot dishes will be served at the end of sailing on the Saturday and Sunday. Post-sailing meals are included in the registration fee.
