Marina Upgrade News

Announcement A-Arm Redevelopment

Dear Members of The Royal Yacht Club of Tasmania,

We are excited to announce the upcoming redevelopment of A-Arm, which is set to begin in the second week of June (date to be confirmed at the end of May). As a result, all vessels will need to be cleared from A-Arm and relocated to their temporary berths by the end of May.

Please be aware that we anticipate disruption to power and water services for approximately two days. The exact dates of these disruptions will be confirmed and communicated to all members as soon as possible. Additionally, there will be restricted access to the marina during the redevelopment, and we will provide further information on the exact restrictions and dates as they become available.

During this time, safety is our number one priority. We ask that all members and visitors exercise caution around worksites and follow all safety directives. Safety is everybody's responsibility.

The next site meeting is scheduled for late May and we will continue to provide ongoing updates and progress reports on the redevelopment of A-Arm via our website, newsletters, and social media platforms. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the redevelopment, please do not hesitate to contact us at ryct@ryct.org.au.

We appreciate your cooperation and understanding during this exciting time for our Club.

Best Regards,

Sue Ball
