Fuel Berth Update
We’re pleased to announce that the fuel berth now accepts Mastercard and Visa (tap-and-pay, just like a service station) as well as RYCT membership cards—directly at the bowser.
In the December issue of the Marina Newsletter, the RYCT sought member feedback on the fuel berth. Thank you to everyone who responded.
Upgraded Payment System
Based on this feedback—and a review of fuel sales over the past three years—the Club has invested in a new card payment system, which was installed on Tuesday, 13 May. Key improvements include:
Acceptance of Mastercard, Visa, and RYCT membership cards directly at the bowser.
Increased transaction limit from $999 to $3,000

Availability of both diesel and unleaded petrol (ULP).
Deep water access and floating berth for convenience and safety.
Prime riverside location.
Simplified purchasing process—no transaction limits and no app required.
High flow rates (60 litres per minute) for diesel and ULP is 40 liters per minute
Competitive pricing, aligned with the local market.
Fuel management is now overseen by the RYCT Accounts team. We’re committed to keeping prices competitive while ensuring members and the wider boating community enjoy efficient, reliable service.
